Supporting men to gain clarity, build resilience, and take practical steps toward a more meaningful and connected life.
At Ivory Health, we provide a safe and structured space for men to better understand themselves, navigate life’s pressures, and take proactive, practical steps toward change. We support men navigating the transition into adulthood, through to those approaching retirement and later stages of adult life. Our approach combines evidence-based strategies with a calm, non-judgemental environment that supports long-term growth and change.
We understand that men can reach out for support not so much because things are falling apart, but because something no longer feels right. You might be overwhelmed, feeling flat, or simply unsure of where to go next. Therapy can offer the space to uncover what’s going on beneath the surface, whether that’s stress, disconnection, or a lack of motivation, and provide a setting to start moving forward.

Our approach to therapy is grounded in a clear and collaborative process. We work with you to identify patterns that may be holding you back, and help you implement practical and sustainable changes in areas including work, relationships, emotional health and lifestyle. You won’t be expected to open up right away or come in with all the answers.
WHO WE SUPPORT
We support men across a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and substance use. These often show up alongside the more immediate reasons you’re looking for help, which might be:
Struggling in your relationships
Difficulty making connections with people
Feeling directionless or disconnected
Feeling stressed at work or like you’re heading for burn out
Challenges navigating life transitions, like career shifts or retirement
Managing study and work expectations
Figuring out who you are and what you want
Dealing with separation, isolation or family pressure
Trying to make sense of why you’re feeling stuck, angry or unmotivated
We find that men often present seeking support with issues more directly apparent to them, like improving a relationship, managing stress, or making a career decision. As therapy progresses, it’s common to notice other factors influencing how you feel, such as low mood, anxiety, or habits like drinking to unwind. These experiences are often interconnected, and therapy offers a space to explore and better understand the full picture.
OUR THERAPEUTIC APPROACHES
We use several therapeutic approaches when supporting clients. These can include identifying the inter-related connections between thoughts, emotions, physical sensations and behaviours to address worries and low mood. We also work through an interpersonal lens, that is, working with problems where people are the main focus. These may involve processing grief, supporting settling conflict, improving social connections and helping clients move through difficult transitions in their life. Clients can also be supported to learn to open up to and tolerate experiences that might be less controllable.
