Anna enjoys working with adolescents and adults. She aims to provide a service that is warm, compassionate, trauma-informed and respectful of diversity. Anna works collaboratively with clients (and their supports, where appropriate) to holistically understand areas of difficulty and strength to develop therapeutic goals. Goals are often aimed at improving wellbeing, daily functioning, mood regulation and/or interpersonal relationships.
Anna works with individuals experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, stress, mood dysregulation, parenting difficulties and stage-of-life issues and draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Compassion Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
Anna herself regularly practises mindfulness and self-compassion to tackle the ever-shifting sands of modern life.
